The 1st sentence.....

I'm sure most of u out there have frens tht u have not meet after a very long long time....mostly in years...I always wonder what would be the 1st sentence out of everyone's mouth tht would come after "Hi long time no see"...n then after tht very 1st sentence...how does the conversation continues on n on?..after all....it's been a very long time...close frens would not be as close as it used to be..mostly due to the lack of communication in between the period..how would most people respond to this situation?....what would be the most common response?......I wonder...
(still find it hard opening my mouth to her.....even tho...)
Imagine....few years back....u said or he/she said "friends forever!" especially during graduation or last days or some sort....n then as time goes on....as the face to face contact lessens.....so does the amount of conversation...n then the conversation would turn into a asking "how well the other person is doing" conversation..n then some people would just move on to a new life with new people to meet n stuffs like tht....forgetting the whole "friends forever" agenda....
(...last time things were so fun n there were no hesitations...)
I dunno with others...but from the way I see it..when we say "friends forever" or similar things...we wish to retain the same amount of conversation tht we're used to having....the same amount of excitement n enthusiasm to keep tht conversation going on....n making sure(with effort) tht the fire burns on forever la....N so refering back to the "after separation" part...for most people...I think things would just change as people move on and new things take over...with new people n new conversations....with the exception of certain people who really appreciates how things used to be and trying in any way possible to bring back the feelings even from long distances....for others however...I wonder if the term hypocrisy should jump in but it wouldn't be fair would it?...as for the "others"...when they use tht phrase,they really hope(at tht time) they could keep to their words..but they just lose the enthusiasm with time..but worse still some just say it for the sake of saying it....lol...
(..the last time we really spoke i think was during new year's eve -.-)
Coming back to the main issue here....wat would you most likely say (the 1st sentence)to a person whom u havent met for a long time?..would u choose a sentence which would keep the fire burning?....or would u choose a sentence which would keep it short n just move on?....most would say depending on situation...lol.....Me?...I'm much worse....I dunno wat to say cos I'm scared tht the other person is not interested in keeping the fire burning...n thus...doubting whether I should even open my mouth or not =____= dumb rite?...yeah i know....
(wonder if she's interested in keeping conversations long..i dunno..)
